Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Streamio Android application ("Streamio", "the app"), published by MJ Android ("the Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using Streamio you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Licence

The Developer grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Streamio on devices you own or control, for your lawful use, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. What Streamio does

Streamio is a tool that streams video files you select on your device to a third-party streaming service (such as YouTube) using an RTMP endpoint and stream key that you provide. Streamio does not host content, does not provide a streaming service of its own, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube, Google, or any other streaming provider.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the content you stream and for your use of any third-party streaming service. You agree that you will not use Streamio to:

You — not the Developer — are responsible for obtaining any licences, permissions, or consents required for the content you broadcast, and for complying with the destination platform's rules. Any consequences of your streams (including strikes, suspensions, takedowns, or legal claims by third parties) are your responsibility.

4. Third-party services

Streamio depends on third-party services including your chosen streaming provider, Google Play, and Google Firebase/AdMob. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. The Developer is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their actions.

5. Purchases (Streamio Pro)

Streamio offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, "Streamio Pro", which unlocks additional features. All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Pricing (which may vary by region), payment, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service. Refund requests should be directed to Google Play. Entitlements are tied to your Google Play account.

6. Advertising

The free version of Streamio may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. Purchasing Streamio Pro removes advertising.

7. Availability and changes

The app is provided on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue Streamio or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. Streaming reliability depends on your device, network, power, and the third-party service, none of which we control.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Streamio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that streams will be delivered without interruption, delay, or loss of quality. You use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, or content, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Streamio — including any account strikes, suspensions, or losses on third-party platforms — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer's total aggregate liability relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for Streamio Pro (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, the content you stream, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use Streamio. You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
